Types of Coaching
Personal Coaching
- Do you want to make changes in your life but don’t know how?
- Do you slip back into the same old patterns even though you are desperate to change?
- Are you unclear about what you really want, but know exactly what you don’t want?
- Deep down do you feel frustrated because you’re not living the life you really want?
- On the outside appear as having it all, but inside feel like something vital is missing?
- Do you have a sense that you are living the wrong life, someone else’s life, or the life other people expect you to live?
If this sounds like you and you’re committed to making changes in your life - then coaching can get you there!
Personal coaching helps you understand who you really are, what you really want and find solutions to make it happen. Until you are aware of what is stopping you and clear about what you really want - you are very unlikely to find it.
Personal coaching uncovers the things holding you back and keeping you stuck in the same old patterns and focuses on moving you forward to achieve your goals. I believe personal coaching is the best form of self development there is!
Here are some examples of personal goals my clients commonly work on –
- Find work-life balance and 'me' time
- Get fit and healthy (including weight loss)
- Look as good as I did 10 years ago
- Change careers, diversify or get promoted
- Find the love relationship of my dreams
- Have a full and exciting social diary
- Be financially free
- Feel self-confident and comfortable in my own skin!
- Feel alive, energised and at peace.
How I coach
The kind of goals we set together will be uniquely focussed on meeting your particular needs, wants and desires. As a coach I help you set really inspiring goals – the kind that will have a maximum impact on your life. I then guide you through a structured process and help keep it all manageable. By stretching you more than you would normally stretch yourself - and keeping you accountable – coaching is also a bit like having your own personal trainer. But the most important thing I do as a coach is help you find your own solutions to make the changes you want in your life. Coaching works by increasing the likelihood that the changes you make become a permanent part of your life – rather than quick fixes with no staying power.
Brain-based coaching approach
Coaching enables you to get the results you want faster - and in a way that truly works for you. As a coach I will NOT tell you what to do. I use a brain-based coaching approach which builds on the latest findings in neuroscience and how your brain works. I’m not a neuroscientist, counsellor, psychologist or a psychiatrist - I’m a professional certified coach. I work with you by unleashing your own ability to find solutions for your life, so you can have the life you really want.
Telephone and web-based coaching
As an experienced coach I work mainly using telephone and web-based programmes like Skype. Because coaching is not a social conversation our sessions will be structured, but at the same time flexible enough to respond to your individual needs. A one hour coaching call works just as effectively as face to face coaching and it’s very convenient. Phone coaching is surprisingly powerful as distractions are minimised and it allows for deep and focused interaction. It reduces the time spent travelling to see a coach and my clients who have experienced both, tell me it makes no difference at all.

If you work at an executive level in any organisation or business, you will be judged on your ability to lead and manage people and your team’s performance. The focus of leadership today is very much on developing personal integrity. Integrity shows up in the way you manage conversations; how fully trusted you are; and whether or not you get the job done!
As a senior manager your work usually evolves around finding solutions to complex problems, communicating effectively in all areas; and future proofing your organisation through constant change.
Many of the executive clients I work with have undergone extensive psychometric testing, performance review and leadership training which has left them floundering about how to put it all into place? This is where coaching really works.
